The Series
The Martin Larsen series are made from matted stainless steel with or without chronograph function. The watches are water resistant up to five atmosphere and covered with a mineral glass. The IQ12Q723 and IQ13Q723 have anti-reflective and scratch-resistant sapphire glass and a polished stainless steel case. They have a water resistance of three atmosphere. A smaller edition of this watch will soon be launched onto the market so that females will be able to make the choice between the two models. Danish Design has won the Red Dot Design Award 2008. This award is a renowned distinction for high design quality. Model number IQ12Q723 was awarded this prestigious prize. The same model is also nominated for the Designpreis 2009. This design award is from the Federal Republic of Germany and has the country's highest distinction in the field of design.
Red Dot Design Award
This award is a worldwide renowned design award. From the 3,200 submissions out of 51 countries only 676 product won the Red Dot design award. This award can be won for all different kinds of product from furniture, electronic equipment and sport attributes to watches and jewellery. Only Danish Design and five other watch brands won the design award.
